Well, I said I'd do it and by gum I have!!

Welcome to the Audio Dramateer.  This is my little corner of the blogasphere where I'll be looking to explore the wonderful world of audio drama as I happen to stumble upon it.

I want this to the the sort of micro-site/blog that acts as a signpost for those new to audio drama looking to explore what's already out there and what's being produced and published all the time.  Equally, I'd love this to be the place those already into listening to audio drama come to see if there is anything that would be new to them that might be of interest.

So, what are you going to find here?  Essentially, my ramblings!  I'm intending to review produtions from time to time and if have a listen and like what you hear yourself, I'll post links to the production company's websites so you can go find it yourself.

Will there be any professional productions mentioned in here?  Depends on your definition of professional - if you mean paid for jobbing actors and sound techs then the answers no.  I will only be dealing with the volunteer production companies (Darker Projects, BrokenSea, Misfits Audio, etc etc) which is by no means to say they are not professional!  I've had dealings with the music industry and believe me - the volunteer organisations could teach some of them a thing or two about professionalism.

Anyway, enough of me whittering on.  Go to the blog and enjoy!
